About this guide
The Independent Guide to Courchevel is written and published by Early, a communications studio that works with hospitality houses in Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, Saint-Barthélemy, Megève and Paris. It is edited by Joseph Herbinet, co-founder of Early.
We spend every winter in Courchevel working with restaurants, bars and hotels. That gives us a view of the resort that most guides do not have: who owns what, who has been in the kitchen for twenty years, which terrace gets the sun at 3 pm.
Transparency: Early handles communications for some of the houses in this guide, including the Maison Tournier restaurants, The Cat Club and Bo House. We are not paid to appear in or to write this guide, no address can pay to be listed, and every house, client or not, is described with the same rules, including its limits.
