Booking restaurants in Courchevel at Christmas, New Year and February

In Courchevel, the weeks of Christmas, New Year and the February school holidays are the hardest to book. Reserve dinner tables as soon as your dates are fixed, ideally several weeks ahead, and expect set menus and higher prices on 24 and 31 December.

Winter 2026-2027 · Updated 24 October 2026

Peak weeks: from about 20 December to 3 January, and the February school holidays (French, British and Belgian holidays overlap through most of February).

Dinner is harder than lunch. Mountain restaurants keep more flexibility at lunch, especially for small tables.

New Year's Eve: most restaurants serve a set menu, often with a fixed seating time. Book early and read the conditions (deposit, cancellation).

If your chalet or hotel has a concierge, ask them to book: they know the houses and can often find a table faster.

For same-day tables, call the restaurant directly rather than relying on online booking pages.
