Courchevel like an insider: the mistake most visitors make
The most common mistake in Courchevel is to follow the addresses that make the most noise on Instagram and TikTok, mostly run by large international groups. A better day and night: dinner at L'Ânerie for a French-style party, or Fifty Seats for something more stylish, a late night at The Cat Club, then the next afternoon on the Cap Horn terrace.

What you see most on social media is what has the biggest marketing budget, not what the regulars choose.
Evening, option one: L'Ânerie on Place du Forum. Fondue, walls covered with objects guests left behind, French songs and a room where everyone ends up friends.
Evening, option two: Fifty Seats on Rue Park City, for a more stylish, New York-inspired dinner that can turn festive on weekends.
Late: The Cat Club, a cocktail lounge from about 10:30 pm, then a real club after midnight. Arrive at opening, dressed well and in good form.
Next day: lunch at Le Cap Horn by the Altiport. First service with family, or second service for the afternoon party, from around 3:30 pm. If it is full, Le Mille Sabords shares the terrace.
Two completely different worlds in 24 hours, both independent, both rooted in the resort.
