Fifty Seats

From the street it does not look like much. Inside, it is one of the most beautiful rooms in Courchevel: a chic, New York polo-bar feel, paintings by stylish contemporary artists on the walls, and a young, half-American, half-French energy.

The menu is easy and good, with something for everyone; the wine cellar is small, niche and sharp, and the cocktails are worth ordering. The details are what set it apart: staff uniforms, caps and merch that give the brand a real identity. It may be the most stylish brand in Courchevel.

It does not turn festive every night: it depends on the room. But on weekends and in the busiest weeks, the sound system and the lighting built into the woodwork take over, a DJ plays jazzy, American and Italian-New York sounds, and the restaurant becomes a party, subtly. With around fifty covers per service, it stays intimate.
