Brasserie at the foot of the slopes · Courchevel 1850
Le Tremplin
Le Tremplin is a brasserie at the foot of the slopes at La Croisette in Courchevel 1850, run by the same family for around sixty years and by Jean-Jack Bertrand since 1998. It serves seafood from a live tank, sushi, mountain dishes and pastries from lunch to late, with a crêperie next door.
Le Tremplin has been a Courchevel institution for more than six decades. Jean-Jack Bertrand, who joined the French ski team at fifteen, took it over in 1998 and still runs it.
The kitchen covers a lot of ground without losing the plot: shellfish from the tank, a sushi master, premium meats, Savoyard classics and a pastry chef. The team speaks six languages.
Its position at the bottom of the slopes makes it a natural meeting point at lunch and after the lifts close, when its 'afters' bring DJs and live music.
